Proven Impact – Hyde’s Lions Pilot
Over a two-year self-funded pilot, Hyde’s Lions FC demonstrated the impact of structure, consistency
Players who initially presented as shy and lacking confidence developed into more disciplined, communicative, and confident individuals. The programme provided a positive alternative to negative influences, supporting prevention around issues such as street involvement, peer pressure and risk-taking behaviours.
Parents reported clear improvements in behaviour, attitude and confidence - with young people growing into more responsible and focused individuals as they moved toward the next stage of their lives.
